Installation & Maintenance >>We are a family-owned company based in North Karelia, Finland, manufacturing fences and fence products since 1987 for the needs of business and the public sector. Our office is located in Nurmes, where we produce our chain-link fence mesh and gates. Since the company's founding, our most important measure of success has been reliability and the production of high-quality, durable products.
At the time of the company's founding, the business idea was to meet the demand for fur farm fences in Finland. A legislative change was proposed, requiring all fur farms in Finland to be fenced by the end of the decade. However, the proposed law did not come into effect, and due to a severe recession in the fur industry, the company soon had to change its business idea, seeking new customers and shifting its focus almost exclusively to serving the public sector and business needs. In 1998, brothers Tenho and Veli Toivanen bought the company, turning Saher-Aidat Oy into a family business.
Our company's advantage has always been agility, enabling us to respond to customer needs and adapt to changing global situations. " Throughout the company’s existence, we've experienced various global situations, and it hasn't always been easy. From the beginning, we've aimed to be reliable in everything we do, developing products to meet needs, and believing in our own strengths in the market. Integrity and humility have carried the company through difficult times, and this is what we are still known for. This is evidenced by countless long-term customer relationships and customer satisfaction", says CEO Tenho Toivanen, who has been involved since the company was founded.
Today, we are one of the leading manufacturers of fence products in Finland. In 2023, our turnover was 4.5 million euros, and we employed 17 people. 15 of our personnel work at the company’s birthplace in North Karelia. In addition to our own installers, we utilize a nationwide network of subcontractors for installation work.
